Poll: Vote for July Book Club Selections
Happy Friday, mis internet amigxs,
It's finally time to vote for our July book club picks!
With that said, what if our July theme is SUMMER SCHOOL and we do a DOUBLE NONFICTION READ?
Two books I've been wanting to tackle are:
- Cuba: An American History by Ada Ferrer
- PFKnR: How Bad Bunny Became The Global Voice of Puerto Rican Resistance by Vanessa Diaz and Petra R. Rivera-Rideau (this would be a re-read for me on audio so I could better annotate my personal copy)
My poll today is just if you like this idea and the books for July or if you don't like summer school, then which book will be the nonfiction read for July - August.
Looking forward to seeing the results of this poll!

Happy Sunday, mis internet amigxs!
I was trying to get all May releases into one post, but just ran out of time, but I am planning for next week's post to wrap-up the month for you...There are a few books releasing today just in time for World Cup fever for readers of all ages, but first, a little housekeeping...
- MAY FICTION BOOK: Asiri and the Amaru by Natalia Hernandez
- MAY - JUNE NONFICTION SIDE QUEST: Accordion Eulogies by Noe Alvarez (requested theme was micro history)
- Both May book channels are open on Discord

Happy Tuesday, mis internet amigxs!
Before I start with book news, I wanted to make sure you've all seen the terrible library news coming from this administration: 125,000 libraries have been defunded AGAIN by the Trump administration and it's up to you to take action. Also, while you're calling your reps, make sure to tell them to vote NO on HR 7661, the national book ban.
We're currently reading The House of the Spirits this month. It's not too late to join us on Discord ahead of the Amazon Prime series premiere on April 29th.
