Paid Members Just Got A Major Upgrade
I'm a little behind on announcements! (and everything else, because I've essentially had the bubonic plague since returning from NYC)
Bindery recently announced that all $5 members will receive an E*Arc of all books put out by Boozhoo Books. $12+$25 members will receive a physical arc of all books put out by Boozhoo Books! (If you haven't updated your profile with your address, do that ASAP!).
Our first book, What Feeds Below (by Tatiana Schlote Bonne) a YA horror fantasy for fans of The Descent and Annihilation about two poor girls who guide rich tourists into a cave of treasures but run into trouble (in the form of monstrous creatures and plants) is coming out OCTOBER 6.
That's less than a year now and that's super exciting!
Our cover is near completion (paid members have now seen Draft 1 and Draft 2!) and I know that you guys are going to lose it. I can guarantee you that this book is going to be on Best Cover Lists (and Best Horror Lists) of 2026!

Snail Mail Club Updates
SNAIL MAIL CLUB IS BACK IN BUSINESS, baby! Updates:
- $5 members will continue to get mail August, October and December.
- Beginning in October, Snail Mail Club will be moving to a monthly benefit for $12 and $25 members only. ($25 slightly fancier, more handwritten items)
- You must opt in each month in the sign up form, which you will receive as a Bindery email. If you do not opt in by the deadline, you will not receive the mail. You must be a paid member to receive benefits.
For August paid members, the form must be filled out by Saturday, August 1 at 4pm PST.
$5 members will receive mail from me.
$12 members will receive mail + a few extras.
$25 members will receive mail + a few extras (fancy pants).
All $12 and $25 members will receive a copy of this print, an art design by our very talented author (and artist LMFAOOOO) of some What Feeds Below creatures:
Support for Preorders
We have hit one of our preorder goals!
We have gotten over 100 preorders at one of our indie partners: Prairie Lights!
We partnered with 3 indie stores for our preorder campaign to give away a poster of the book cover. Our goal is to achieve 100 preorders from each store! Help us support these stores!
It’s also incredibly important for us to get preorders at Barnes and Noble, because more preorders increase the likelihood of them stocking the book well- this can make or break a book! And the only breaking we want to do is onto a best selling list!
And as a reminder, if you can’t swing the $17.99 right now, the ebook is $3.99 everywhere! (Though I know you will want a physical copy once you read it!)
I would love the first book from my imprint to be a bestseller and this book deserves it!
Milestones Achieved
We are 666 preorders away from our 1,000 book preorder goal. For those who need a calculator like me, that’s about 4 preorders a day until launch? Does anyone think they can convince 1 person a day to preorder?
