## Updates and Recommendations:
I have struggled this year with bookclub. Participation is low and I have not been able to read the books by the end of the month. I am considering moving to a Yearly Recommended Reads list, shared in January.

**Have you read any of these? What's on your June TBR?**

1. _Old School Indian_ by Aaron John Curtis
This was our book club pick for Good Day To Read Indigenous and I thought it was fantastic. It's a coming of middle age story.
2. _Yesteryear_ by Caro Claire Burke
This book just kind of fell apart in the end.
3. _Catherine House_ by Elisabeth Thomas
It’s dark academia gothic that is impeccably written.
4. _Lethal Kiss_ by Taylor Grothe
TAYLOR IS A MASTER AT HORRORMANCE. This book made me want to read 10 more books just like it.
5. _Heartbeat Braves_ by Pamela Sanderson
   An Indigenous romance.
6. _Native Love Jams_ by Tashia Hart
A sweet story that is LAUGH OUT LOUD funny.
7. _When Stars Have Teeth_ by Dani Trujilio
   A steamy Indigenous romance.
8. _The Maiden and Her Monster_ by Maddie Martinez
A haunting tale with impressive prose.
9. _Bad Words_ by Rioghnach Robinson
The best romance I have ever read.
10. _We Are All Guilty Here (North Falls #1)_ by Karin Slaughter
An incredible thriller that twists in ways you wouldn’t expect.
11. _Girl, Forgotten (Andrea Oliver #2)_ by Karin Slaughter
12. _Every Summer After_ by Carley Fortune
A second chance romance I loved.
13. _Meet Me At The Lake_ by Carley Fortune
14. _The Lemon Twist_ by Élan Les Vies
15. _This Summer Will Be Different_ by Carley Fortune
