Shannon has created a world rich in intricate mythology, beautifully realized and complex.” —Jennifer Saint, bestselling author of _Ariadne_. In _A Day of Fallen Night_, Samantha Shannon sweeps readers back to the universe of _Priory of the Orange Tree_ and into the lives of four women, showing us a course of events that shaped their world for generations to come. **Tunuva Melim is a sister of the Priory.** For fifty years, she has trained to slay wyrms—but none have appeared since the Nameless One, and the younger generation is starting to question the Priory's purpose. **To the north, in the Queendom of Inys, Sabran the Ambitious has married the new King of Hróth, narrowly saving both realms from ruin.** Their daughter, Glorian, trails in their shadow—exactly where she wants to be. **The dragons of the East have slept for centuries.** Dumai has spent her life in a Seiikinese mountain temple, trying to wake the gods from their long slumber. Now someone from her mother's past is coming to upend her fate. **When the Dreadmount erupts, bringing with it an age of terror and violence, these women must find the strength to protect humankind from a devastating threat.** Show more Get the Bindery app * * * Posts about this title from Celestial [Celestial\\ \\ Steph\\ \\ • Oct 26 2024](https://celestial.binderybooks.com/) [princess books](https://celestial.binderybooks.com/item/VLzaUAzF20QtcN23QQKG/) turns out i don’t actually read a lot of books with princess main characters??? had to really dig deep for this video and all i had were these three besides some childhood books! anyway, love u nuuly. also the dress is bhldn if you’re interested! * * * 3 books [Celestial\\ \\ Steph\\ \\ • Jan 4 2024](https://celestial.binderybooks.com/) [5 star reads of 2023](https://celestial.binderybooks.com/item/wn5br3jmn84qnOM2eqE7/) coming in strong with an 8 minute video … let’s talk about my 5 star reads of 2023! these are the books you just can’t miss. * * * 13 books Posts about this book from across Bindery [DocoftheDarkArts\\ \\ Bob Stuntz\\ \\ • Jul 5](https://docofthedarkarts.binderybooks.com/) Join for free \\ \\ Join for free or login](https://docofthedarkarts.binderybooks.com/item/K5W4dAgob08Uh2bP0jcE/) [The Sunday Prescription: July 5, 2026](https://docofthedarkarts.binderybooks.com/item/K5W4dAgob08Uh2bP0jcE/) * * * 16 books 7 [Alyssa’s Library\\ \\ alyssa\\ \\ • Aug 18 2025](https://alyssaslibrary.binderybooks.com/) Join for free [some sapphic fantasy books you need to read this fall <333](https://alyssaslibrary.binderybooks.com/item/YLtZxrpGrLKwg3AzsQa1/) some sapphic fantasy books you need to read this fall <333 * * * 14 books 2 [Scribe Tribe\\ \\ Jahid\\ \\ • Feb 12 2025](https://scribetribe.binderybooks.com/) Join for free [BBL Books: The Biggest Books On My Shelf & What I Think Of Them](https://scribetribe.binderybooks.com/item/Ybcc512yyoYOvtSjZqw1/) Some books are short and sweet. . .and some are literary leviathans, bookish BBL having behemoths, if you will.
