A VERY Realistic Day of Reading

I’m reading an ARC of What Kind of Paradise by Janelle Brown—it comes out in June. 💕

I’m only about 15% of the way through but I’m completely HOOKED. Stay tuned for my review because OMG. It might be giving me 6 star feelings!? 🤭

Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil by V.E. Schwab Review

MORE THOUGHTS ⬇️

I should also mention that this book is dark, the characters are absolutely feral. These women are HUNGRY and make veryyy questionable decisions at best. 😈 It’s sexy, angsty, and slower-paced.

I was hoping for it to build up to something a little more than it did (like Addie LaRue which is one of my fav books ever). The ending felt anticlimactic, but that doesn’t mean I don’t recommend. It just didn’t hit the 5 star mark for me. Which was slightly disappointing because my hopes were HIGH.

If this sounds like something you’d love, then you’ll probably love it!

I’m giving it 4 stars for now, but that might change as I process it a bit more.

Do you think you’ll add it to your tbr!?
