Good afternoon!

I hope you're having a great week! As you may have seen on social media, my week has been pretty eventful so far! Yesterday I was surprised with a pass to go to the DNC, so I was able to spend my evening there, where I was not only able to meet new people and listen to some of our elected officials discuss the future the country, but I also got to spend some time with Palestinian protestors and listen/learn from them. I did not do much filming, because I was actively engaged, but I am sure I will share a lot about that experience in the coming days.

HOWEVER, I do have an exciting piece of news I can share RIGHT NOW...

We have officially made an offer on a book!!!

If you are a paid subscriber, this is not coming as a shock to you because I have been talking about this book over there for the last week or so. But for everyone else...I am SOOO EXCITED!

Now, it's important to note that the author has not responded to our offer yet. So nothing is for sure! But I am hopeful! This book checks so many of my boxes and is exactly what I was looking for in a story! And I am so certain that if the author trusts it in our hands, we are going to go so far together!

Y'all... I am so flipping excited right now! Fingers crossed that the author decides to work with us. And if she does, here's what's next:

I will share updates here periodically, but if you want an insider look at this entire process, including sneak peeks of the story, first look at the cover and exclusive hangouts/interviews with the author, make sure you are subscribed at at least the $5 tier, as paid members will get a first look at the publishing process, as well as the ability to offer feedback very early in the process (and an early copy of the book).
