“Angels & Man” by Rafael Nicolás: Video Review

🌈 “Angels & Man” by Rafael Nicolás is a deeply contemplative and tragic queer fantasy set in the aftermath of Lucifer’s fall, where Heaven lies in ruins and its angels are fractured and lost. The story follows Azazel and Samyaza, two fallen angels grappling with their own flaws, complex relationships, and the oppressive remnants of Heaven. The book is intense and unrelenting, with long passages about God’s cruelty and the angels’ struggles, making it a tough and emotionally charged read. While it offers moments of tragic beauty, especially in its romantic arcs, the ending is devastating and heartbreaking. With its diverse cast of characters and beautiful, vivid prose, this dark tale is not for everyone, but it leaves a lasting impact for those willing to dive into its complexity.

November Reading Wrap Up: Lazy Edition

📚🌈 November was a whirlwind of eclectic reads! From tragic angels and swoony vampire love to magical schools and a k*ller robot, it was a mix of heartbreak, adventure, and thrills. I also dove into a secret fear test club, devoured some stunning graphic novels, and binged a variety of manga—from spine-chilling horror to the spiciest stories. This month truly had everything ✨.
