Hey witches!

Who is ready for a little practical magic reread? Or maybe it’s your first time? I’m talking to you @sunshine_cherub

Join us for our Practical Magic book club this summer, in prep for the new movie coming out in September! We will read both books, meet once for the first book to discuss, and at our meeting for the second book we will do some fun witchy crafts! Like simmer kits and roller balls with lavender and rosemary!! Dates to be announced next week! Let me know if you need the books, we can order them for you!

“Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.“ —Gandalf

Remus Recommends

Welcome members, to another edition of Remus Recommends.
Where Bookseller Remus recommends some favorites to you, and if you would like, can also do a review!
This recommendation is actually a whole staff pick, as we all love T. Kingfisher and all her writing!

“What Moves the Dead” is a Poe retelling of “The Fall of the House of Usher”, it has a dark atmosphere, with a sense of humor! The story follows Alex Easton, a retired soldier, who journeys to The House of Usher after receiving word that their childhood friend, Madeline Usher, is dying. Upon arrival, Easton discovers that Madeline's illness is far more severe and gruesome than they ever imagined.

Check out the fun line up we have for July at Stardust Books!

We often partner with Smelter Town Brewery, which is two doors down! It’s my home away from home… maybe I shouldn’t admit that! lol But it’s a great place to hang with friends, chat about books and grab a beer.

Join us for our audiobook walk today at 6pm. We meet at the shop, walk around Clarkdale and end back at the shop. I know it’s a million degrees right now, so I understand if it’s just not for you right now! lol
