Crowd Input!
Something I'd like to post more of on our bookstore social media accounts are recommendation videos for our favorite (insert trope or genre). Is that something you'd all like to see?
For instance, a starter one would be "Ryn's Favorite Indigenous Horror" and it would be (let's be real) books like Indian Burial Ground by Nick Medina and The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones with White Horse by Erika T. Wurth thrown in as well!
Help out by filling out the poll on this post!

Interview Highlights
- Taylor Grothe Interview
Alright, y'all, we have another interview on our hands and this time with the inimitable Taylor Grothe! Taylor is a nonbinary author of both YA and adult horror.
What was the biggest inspiration for writing Lethal Kiss?
The seed of Lethal Kiss came from my experience at university and in academia generally. How do you determine how much of yourself you want to share in your characters?
It’s so important to me to have my characters be neurodivergent.
- Rachel Harrison Interview
So I noticed that Rachel Harrison was asking about podcast interviews on her IG and was like "might as well shoot my shot" and see if I could get a short interview with her.
- What inspired you to write a time loop novel?
Time loops actually really stress me out! I have bad anxiety, and the idea of being stuck causes me to panic.
